Voices from Occupied Chicago
‘Communist Manifesto’ Discussion Group

On Saturday October 15, 2011 a rich discussion took place on the streets of Chicago about the most famous document of working class struggle of all time, The Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engels. The discussion was one of many that took place at Occupy Chicago, an outgrowth of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Among other topics the discussion takes on questions such as: What is class struggle? What is an internationalist framework? What misconceptions have surrounded this document, and its school of thought?
