Leo Panitch teaches political economy at York University. He is active in the Socialist Project and is co-editor of The Socialist Register. He's written several books on Marxism and labor including Renewing Socialist Democracy, Strategy and Imagination and Social Democracy and Industrial Militiancy: The Labour Party, the Trade Unions and Incomes Policy, 1945-1947. He is coauthor of In and Out of Crisis: The Global Financial Meltdown and Left Alternatives with Greg Albo and Sam Gindin.
