50th Anniversary of the March on Washington
Inside the ISO Contingent
50 years after the infamous March on Washington, nearly 100,000 people gather to commemorate the fight for equality and jobs. While speakers from the front refrained from raising demands as radical as those of the 1960s, it was not lost on those marching and rallying that the dream Martin Luther King, Jr. and the civil rights movement once had still has a long way of being realized.
This video captures some of the spirit of the large contingent led by the International Socialist Organization.
